Race Organiser

Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) is Australia’s premier yacht club and home to what is considered yachting’s ‘Everest’ – the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Members, guests and visitors enjoy being part of an active sailing club in a superb location on Rushcutters Bay, only minutes from Sydney’s CBD. CYCA was established in 1944 and over the years has become Australia’s leading exponent of ocean racing and sea safety, with a reputation that attracts yachts and crews globally.

Race Finishing Club

The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron is New Zealand’s leading yacht club, with an illustrious history dating back to our formation in 1871.

The RNZYS is still the official home of the America’s Cup after Emirates Team New Zealand, representing the RNZYS, defended the oldest sporting trophy in the world at the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona in 2024. With thousands of races per calendar year, an abundance of social events, there is something for everyone at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.
